Blechexpo + Schweisstec 2017

T

he entire spectrum of ther-

mal and mechanical sheet

metal, profile and pipe pro-

cessingplus thermal andmechani-

cal welding, joining and fastening

technology – the recognised com-

petence duo, namely the 13th Ble-

chexpo and the 6th Schweisstec, is

once again scoring with its unique

portfolio of offerings at highest

international levels! What began

to become apparent in the wake

of Blechexpo and Schweisstec in

2015 has since been transformed

into reality step by step: the

Blechexpo international trade fair

for sheet metal processing and the

Schweisstec international trade

fair for joining technology are

breaking the mould bit by bit and,

already in 2017, will occupy all

available exhibition floor space at

the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre with

15%growth in comparisonwith the

last event.

According to details provided by

project manager Georg Knauer,

both Blechexpo and Schweisstec

are demonstrating strong growth

rates above all with regard to do-

mestic and foreign exhibitors, as

well as occupied booth floor space:

“Already during and shortly after

the event in 2015, initial bookings

were received and registration is

still booming today. At our cur-

rent level of more than 1,130,000

square feet of overall exhibition

floor space, we’ll be setting a new

record. And this certainly won’t be

the end of the story, because in the

meantime we haven’t just occu-

pied all of the available halls at the

Stuttgart Exhibition Centre – they’re

nearly full as well. Due to the fact

that further RFQs and bookings are

coming in every day, we’ll fill the

entire trade fair centre for the first

time in the final analysis. Growing

numbers of manufacturers and dis-

tributors from outside of Germany

are also very favourable, thus in-

creasing the event’s international-

ism and making it possible for us

to present worldwide offerings in

actual practice.”

A large portion of Blechexpo’s last-

ing and increasing international

success can be traced back to the

“process sequence” trade fair con-

cept. Expert visitors from around

the globe are presented with world-

wide product and service offerings,

by means of which they can set up

the production and processing of

components, modules and devices

made of sheet metal, pipe and pro-

fileinadetailedandholisticmanner.

The complementary Schweisstec

trade fair makes a decisive contri-

bution in this respect as well, which

more than simply supplements the

process sequence for sheet metal,

pipe and profile processing with

the fields of thermal and mechani-

cal welding, joining and fastening

technology, but rather seamlessly

extends them. In comparison with

similarly positioned events which

more orless deal with just one orthe

other issue in a selective fashion,

Blechexpo and Schweisstec – as

technical trade fairs and compe-

tence duo – are targeted at a pres-

entation of the entire process se-

quence based on comprehensive

know-how!

This results in numerous syner-

gies for the expert visitors, because

they’re provided with the opportu-

nity of looking beyond their own ho-

rizons. After all, the nomenclatures

covered by Blechexpo and Schweis-

stec include all of the hardware and

software required for the efficient

production of sheet metal, pipe and

profile components, as well as the

modules and devices made from

them, ranging from materials ware-

housing, partsprocessingandauto-

mated assembly joining technology,

right on up to surface finishing. The

13th Blechexpo and the 6th Sch-

weisstec will take place at the Stutt-

gart Exhibition Centre from the 7th

through the 10th of November, 2017.
