Ausgabe zur INTERGASTRA 2018

5 Ausg.Nr._01/2018 Intergastra + Gelatissimo 2018 N umerous exhibitors has already booked their stands long be- fore the event. With the expan- sion of the Stuttgart trade fair centre the growth of the in- dustry meeting place can also continue in 2018. The trade fair for gastronomy and the hotel sector showcases new products and trends for the hospital- ity sector for the first time on 115,000 square metres. "In- tergastra is the first trade fair which will occupy the entire grounds and thus also the Paul Horn Hall (Hall 10)", confirms Ulrich Kromer, President/CEO of Messe Stuttgart. "This also offers new oppor- tunities for Intergastra and its exhibitors. With the significant increase in the area, we will re- define the hall layout according to theme and thus offer exhibi- tors and visitors an even better industry overview." The conceptual and professional supporters of the event also support the new structures. "Intergastra is growing – and growth means change", states Fritz Engelhardt, President of the Baden-Württemberg Hotel and Restaurant Association. "The repositioning of the themed areas in ten exhibition halls means a change of location at the trade fair for almost all exhibitors – also for our DEHOGA stand. This is certainly not easy for companies, but I am convinced that with our concept of the practical thematic layout we have made a good, forward- looking decision which will benefit the trade fair visitors and exhibitors alike." The State Association of Guilds of Baden- Württemberg Confectioners is also looking forward to the new hall. "The rising demand in the coffee and ice cream segments is now taken into account", states Klaus Vollmer, State Guild Master of the State Guild Association for the Confectionery Trade in Baden-Württemberg. "In a nutshell: The Intergastra and Gelatissimo trade fairs are must-attend events for every confectioner and gelatiere." "What belongs together is now growing together" The new planning for Intergastra 2018 aims to retain the thematic layout with the additional hall, because this is where the in- dustry meeting place stands out from other events. "Also for 2018 we are sticking with the tried- and-tested principle of pooling exhibitors together according to themes and dividing the halls up accordingly", confirms Markus Tischberger, Project Manager of Intergastra. "That's why we planned new halls for growing theme areas - the strong demand made quite a few decisions for us here." For 2018 and also the subse- quent Intergastra events, the theme area "Kitchen Technology & Food" will be presented in Hall 5, Hall 3 and in the L-Bank Forum (Hall 1) and will have more space than before. The second classic Intergastra area "Hotel & Ambi- ence" with the area "Services" is once again in Hall 4, the Oskar Lapp Hall (Hall 6) and Hall 7. Also here the closely related themes are well grouped and enable visitors to plan their visit to the trade fair with short routes. Hall 9 will showcase the full array of beverages. In the new Paul Horn Hall (Hall 10) and in the Alfred Kärcher Hall (Hall 8) the topics "Ice Cream & Coffee" have ad- ditional space for new products in this growing segment of the eating-out market. Messe Stuttgart and its partners are confident about being well- positioned for the coming years with this new planning and also being able to optimally present the broad offer for the hospitality sectors to international visitors. The exhibitors also recognise the opportunities and many compa- nies, quite a few market leaders, have also increased their stand size.  Text & Image: Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH Messepiazza 1 D-70629 Stuttgart Intergastra 2018: New structures, new opportunities 03.–07.02.2018 FASZINATION SCHÄRFE w w w . g i e s s e r . d e Erlebe die Perfektion des Schneidens mit Werkzeugen von dem Messerspezialisten GIESSER und die Bewunderung ist dir sicher.
