Fairmessage-A&A-2023

Ausg. Nr._04/2023 7 Efficiency For optimum occupational safety, especially in the reprocessing of respiratory protection equipment, Meiko will be presenting new devices and demonstrating how they ensure better health for equipment attendants and respiratory protection personnel in the overall respiratory protection workshop concept. As a solution provider for respiratory protection workshops, the company has been working closely with fire departments for a decade and has been contributing experience from medical technology to its innovations for almost a century - valuable know-how of which industrial companies using respiratory protection technology can see for themselves in Hall 5 at Stand H 37. From the very beginning, personal protection and occupational safety have been the focus of Meiko's product development. This is also the case with TopClean D. Meiko wants to replace manual pre-cleaning of respiratory protection technology and certain mechanical processes with a safe mechanical process. In TopClean D, soot is removed under "high pressure". Respirators are clamped onto patented mask heads. This prevents contamination from entering the inside of the mask during pre-cleaning. Thanks to the compressed air connection in the washing chamber, even breathing apparatuses are freed of dirt particles safely, gently and efficiently. Carrying straps, cylinders, regulators, tools, lamps and other equipment can also be pretreated in the TopClean D. After mechanical pre-cleaning in the new TopClean D, the cleaning and disinfection of respirators, compressed air cylinders, carriers and regulators takes place in the new TopClean H. Up to six respirators can be "connected" to the unit in the basket via a quick coupling and cleaned and disinfected within six minutes. Thanks to the automatic hood at the push of a button, TopClean H enables very gentle, lift-free - i.e. ergonomic - loading and offers the outstanding option of black/white separation by the unit itself in terms of planning. As a planning expert for respiratory protection workshops, Meiko thus ensures easier black/white separation with optimized ergonomics and user-friendliness. The proven TopClean M washerdisinfector has been providing respiratory protection wearers and personnel in respiratory protection workshops with greater safety from the danger of fire cancer for a decade and will also be on display at A&A. Reprocessing respiratory protection equipment by machine in Meiko's disinfection unit using a process that can be validated makes everyday work easier for hundreds of respiratory protection equipment attendants. Visitors to the Meiko stand will be able to see for themselves the machine manufacturer's expertise in planning individual workflows for hygiene centers and respiratory protection workshops in consultation sessions and with the aid of practical examples. From planning to service, advice on chemistry and validation, and training in the company's own academy, Meiko offers industry everything from a single source. Industrial companies benefit from the know-how of the traditional company, which consistently takes into account the aspects of ergonomics, occupational safety, cost-effectiveness and sustainability in its solutions - for the benefit of respiratory protection equipment wearers and equipment attendants. With one goal in mind: to protect lives. Visitors to the A&A trade fair in Düsseldorf from October 24 to 27, 2023, can see this and the new products for themselves in Hall 5 at Stand H 37. Text & Picture: MEIKO Maschinenbau GmbH Englerstraße 3 D-77652 Offenburg More user safety and efficiency in the reprocessing of respiratory protection technology
