Die besondere Stirngeometrie mit 135° Spitzenwinkel ist Voraus- setzung für optimale Zentrierung des Bohrers. Vier Führungsfasen garantieren beste Bohrungsqua- lität auch bei schrägen Austrit- ten und Kreuzbohrungen. Dank eines neu entwickelten Verfah- rens zur Kantenpräparation sind die Schneidkanten exakt auf die Zerspanherausforderungen des Tiefbohrprozesses hin angepasst. The 25° inclined base rail was de- signed for flexible 5-axis machin- ing. The inclination and increase improve the accessibility for the machined workpieces. On a base plate with a 50mm grid are dif- ferent arrangements of the base rail possible. The workholding system is universally suitable for reliable clamping of a wide range of parts. Multiple workholding increases the productivity and fastens the changing time for a new setup. powerCLAMP is a 3D modular clamping system, a rail is used as a base for over 180 different clamping modules, self-centering vises, blank modules, vacuum modules and magnetic modules. It is used as a mechanical zero- point system and also as a vise for single- and multiple workholding. The difference between the Triag International powerCLAMP system and others on the market is that the side clamps have a cross- wise installed spindle instead of mounted screws. Because of the 2mm serration the clamping and stop modules can be exchanged fast and precise on the base rails. The cleaning is easy to han- dle because there are no T-slots.
