The 17th Internation- al Trade Show for Intralogistics Solutions and Process Manage- ment is fully booked, with over 1,600 exhibitors set to fill more than 120,000 square meters of exhibit space across all ten halls of the Messe Stuttgart conven- tion center. Industry profession- als can expect a comprehensive overview of current intralogistics products and innovations, in- cluding many not yet seen any- where else, from an exciting mix of smaller players and global giants. The LogiMAT brand has indeed established itself as one of the two largest logistics trade shows worldwide, a leading information and communication platform, and a working trade show for di- rect business contacts in the in- tralogistics industry. Exhibitors from around the globe who do business in Central Europe know LogiMAT as the number-one fo- rum for showcasing their new ideas and innovations. Even be- fore LogiMAT opens its doors for the 17th edition, exhibitors have already announced no fewer than 130 innovations never before seen anywhere in the world. Over 50 exhibitors from China and Taiwan LogiMAT 2019 is proud to an- nounce 250 first-time exhibitors and can also boast another sharp jump in the number of internation- al exhibitors, reflecting the grow- ing worldwide reputation of the LogiMAT brand: Of the more than 1,600 exhibitors at the 17th Inter- national Trade Show for Intralogis- tics Solutions and Process Man- agement, nearly a third come from abroad, both throughout Europe and overseas. Some 90 exhibi- tors hail from Australia, Canada, China, India, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and the United States - about half of them from China and Taiwan alone. “The event managers be- lieve that this trend will also be reflected in a growing internation- alization of the industry profes- sionals who attend,” says Ruchty. “In the past decade, LogiMAT has achieved a fivefold increase in in- ternational visitors overall and in those from beyond Europe as well. This trend far outpaces the 30 per- cent growth recently announced by the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) for the past ten years.” Organizers expect a total of some 57,000 interna- tional industry professionals over the event’s three-day run in Feb- ruary. To help these visitors easily find what they’re looking for, LogiMAT 2019 will continue the tradition of grouping similar exhibitors to- gether by hall. The largest group is the machine and plant engi- neering companies, who will present their latest products and solutions for moving goods ef- ficiently in Halls 1 (including the Gallery), 3, 5, and 7. The focus here is on end-to-end process au- tomation with scalable options for optimized production processes of small quantities—right down to fully customized manufacturing of individual products. The defining technologies range from driver- less transport vehicles, innovative stationary and mobile picking robots, and smart conveyor tech- nology kits to tugger trains and state-of-the-art high-performance shuttles. The exhibits will also in- clude IT-supported services that assist with layout planning and plant design and that address the need for maintenance, servicing, and spare parts. Exhibitors offering complementa- ry products and innovations in the areas of packaging, containers, labeling technology, and packag- ing and weighing systems will be directly opposite in Halls 4 and 6 on the southern axis. Visitors can expect a wide spectrum of prod- ucts and services – from new turn- table stretch wrappers to 3D cent- er-of-gravity scales and 3D freight dimensioning in both mobile and ceiling-mounted models.
